Our Story

SilverStream Coffee Roasters was built on a foundation of craftsmanship, experience, and a deep appreciation for what great coffee can be.

Before SilverStream, Bruce and Bonnie built Kairos Coffee and Tea Company, where they roasted coffee and operated a café in Iron Mountain. Through that experience, they developed a reputation for quality, consistency, and a deep commitment to the craft.

During COVID, they began serving coffee out of a converted horse trailer—creating a simple, mobile way to stay connected to their community. In April 2022, that vision expanded into the SilverStream Coffee Airstream, bringing fresh roasted coffee directly to Cranberry Township and surrounding communities.

As their journey continued, they stepped into a new season—franchising the café concept in Iron Mountain and focusing more deeply on roasting. SilverStream Coffee Roasters emerged from that transition, carrying forward everything they had learned while creating something new.

Today, Bruce focuses on what he does best: roasting exceptional coffee with intention and care. Each coffee is selected and roasted to highlight its natural character, whether it’s a smooth, chocolate-forward blend or a bright, complex single origin.
